Of the 155 AI tools we track, 96 have a vendor that will sign a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement: 40 on every plan we list, and 56 only on certain plans or setups. Here they all are, by category, with the plans that qualify.

A signed BAA is what makes it lawful to put patient data into one of these tools. It doesn’t make every use compliant: you still need the qualifying plan, the right settings and your own safeguards. Some vendors also leave particular AI features out of the agreement, so open the tool’s page before you roll it out. Our checklist covers the rest.
