This explains what AI Laws By State LLC collects when you use AI Vendor BAA Check and what we do with it. The short version: we collect only what you send us, we don’t sell it, and we don’t want any health information.
What we collect
- Change alerts: your email address and the tools you choose to watch. We send a confirmation email first and only send alerts once you confirm.
- Tool-list checks: the tool names you paste, and the organization name if you add one. Each check is saved so you can share a link to it. Anyone with the link can see the report, so don’t add anything confidential.
- Corrections and inquiries: your name, email, organization and message.
- Searches: tool names searched that we don’t list yet, without anything identifying who searched, so we know what to research next.
- Technical data: our hosting provider processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver and secure the site. We use IP addresses briefly to rate-limit forms and don’t store them with your submissions.
- Usage statistics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t follow you across other sites.
We don’t use advertising trackers or sell personal information. Please don’t submit protected health information.
How we use it
To run the site, send the alerts you asked for, answer your messages, research tools people ask about, and keep the site secure. We use service providers for hosting, the database and sending email. They process data on our behalf only.
Your choices
- Every alert email has a link to manage or stop alerts.
- To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email contact@aivendorbaacheck.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Retention
We keep alert subscriptions until you unsubscribe, and inquiries and saved tool-list checks for as long as they’re useful for running the site, generally no more than two years. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Children
The site is for professionals and isn’t directed to children under 16.
