Information only, not advice
The site summarizes what AI vendors publish about HIPAA Business Associate Agreements. It is general information, not legal, compliance or professional advice, and it doesn’t create an attorney-client or advisory relationship. A signed BAA alone doesn’t make any use of a product HIPAA compliant. Before you send protected health information to any vendor, confirm its current terms with the vendor and get advice from qualified counsel or your privacy officer.
Accuracy
Vendors change their products, plans and terms often, and we check them on a schedule rather than continuously. Each verdict reflects the vendor’s published materials as of the date shown on that page. We work to keep the information accurate but don’t guarantee that it is complete, current or error-free. The vendor’s own agreement with you always controls.
No affiliation
We’re independent. We’re not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any vendor listed, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, or any regulator. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products discussed.
Sponsored placements
Some placements are paid for by vendors. They’re always labeled “Sponsored” and never change a verdict or the information we publish about any product.
Using the site and its data
You may use the site and its public API for your own research and compliance work, and you may quote individual verdicts with a link back to the page. Don’t scrape the site at a rate that disrupts it, republish the database in bulk as your own, or use the site to break any law. We may limit or block abusive use.
Your submissions
When you send a correction, lead inquiry or audit list, you give us permission to use it to run and improve the site. Don’t include protected health information or other confidential information in anything you submit.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the site, including decisions about which vendors to use or what information to share with them. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the site or your violation of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site means you accept the changes.
