Does Coda AI (Superhuman Docs AI) sign a BAA?

Only on some plans or setups

Superhuman (Coda's parent) offers HIPAA compliance and a BAA only on the Docs Enterprise plan, through sales. It switches off Docs AI web search, vision, prompt caching and tool streaming for BAA customers, and does not say outright whether the core AI chat is inside the BAA.

Based on 2 sources, all from Superhuman (formerly Coda / Grammarly) unless marked.

Not fully covered by the BAA: Docs AI Web Search, Vision (image/PDF uploads), Prompt Caching / extended cache TTL, Tool Streaming.

A signed BAA is necessary but not sufficient for HIPAA compliance, which also depends on configuration, access controls, and your own policies.
